J.T. Miller scored at 2:48 of overtime, lifting the visiting New York Rangers to a 4-3 win against the Edmonton Oilers on Thursday night.
Miller brought the puck through all three zones before scoring from in close to complete the Rangers' comeback after they trailed 3-1 at the start of the third period.

The Rangers took a 1-0 lead at 5:44 of the first period. Brodzinski tipped away a cross-ice pass from Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard at the top of the New York zone, leading to a breakaway.

Jack Roslovic passed the puck out of the corner of the New York zone to Walman at the high slot. Walman fed Nurse in the right circle, and Nurse scored with a one-timer.
Edmonton was on its first power play when Adam Henrique took a shot that was saved by Shesterkin, but the rebound came back to Henrique. His follow up went off the skate of Savoie and into the net for a 2-1 lead at 8:48 of the second.
Savoie was the ninth overall pick by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2022 draft before he was traded to Edmonton in July 2024 for Ryan McLeod and Tyler Tullio.
