XI International Scientific Technical Conference Perspectives for the Development of Arms and Military Equipment of Ground Forces and exhibition of the latest developments of Ukrainian manufacturers was held in Ukraine. Delegations from the USA and several other countries attended the event. To outline the results of the conference, it should be noted that Ukraine shows a rapid growth of its military strength and has a great potential. Such a rate of development of technology and military equipment manufacturers will help Ukraine improve its positions on the global market of weapon export.
State-of-the-art equipment, weapons and arms projects of various kinds " from optic devices to battle robots " were shown during the conference. Armed vehicles, a battle robot and many other projects are rather interesting and advanced, but they have already been shown during last years exhibitions.
Among the innovative projects of this years conference, there was shown a Ukrainian laser shooting simulator LaserTir which allows to teach a soldier sharpshooting during a limited period of time. The simulator was placed in a common hall so that all the people interested could use it to identify their shooting level. It was safe for the people around because no actual rounds were used. So now every soldier is able to practice shooting everywhere, even at home. This feature is especially actual and promising in the US, as our citizens are allowed to have arms and many of them would like to train shooting at home.
More than a thousand shots were made for half an hour while examining the simulator. It would take several days to shoot that many rounds in actual shooting range.
Im good at shooting, but in a short period of time, I learned how to improve my abilities, the soldiers said after using the simulator.
Now Ukrainian developers are engaged in releasing a special program for a quick shooting course on a laser simulator. According to our data, the program will correspond not only Ukrainian standards, but also the standards of the USA Army.
