New York Giants head coach Joe Judge has hired one of his former players as an offensive quality control coach, per multiple outlets.
Nick Williams, a wide receiver at Alabama when Judge was the Crimson Tide's special teams assistant, appeared to confirm the news by changing his Twitter profile picture to a Giants logo on Sunday.
Williams spent the last three seasons as the wide receivers coach at Southern Illinois.
His playing career at Alabama (2009-12) overlapped Judge's tenure (2009-11) on Nick Saban's staff and included three national championships.
He is the son of former Michigan State head coach Bobby Williams.
